About the Role
• Responsibilities will be assisting with: overall execution of responsibilities of the team including all aspects of capital goods, commercial, and service parts; managing/supporting key initiatives, strategic efforts, and day-to day operations of key third party partners
• The candidate will have experience managing a team of supply chain and logistics personnel or leading key initiatives and functions as team lead, as well as significant experience with external vendors and partners
•This position will report to the Manager of Supply Chain & Logistics within the overall Operations organization
• Lead times will be assessed and managed and the individual will work closely with the Operations team to ensure all equipment is delivered per construction schedules
•The candidate will support the selection, implementation, operation and maintenance of a warehousing strategy in both the United States and Canada to support service parts and equipment distribution to the field
• All shipping and service SLAs are to be met with 95% or greater compliance and a corrective action program is to be implemented as required to address shortfalls
• Candidate will work closely with other internal personnel including the Service Manager and the Network Operation Center (NOC) to ensure the service parts program is optimized to support the needs of the field service operations to achieve optimized equipment uptimes and customer satisfaction
• Candidate will manage an inventory of primarily vendor-managed inventory (VMI) as required by contracts and ensure that parts stocked and stocking levels are maintained at sufficient levels to ensure continuity of service parts supply to the field
• All manufacturers and vendors will be managed against contractual deliverables
• Candidate will have strong knowledge of supply chain management best practices and will seek to manage and improve contracts and supplier performance through amendments, business reviews, supplier site assessments, and supplier scorecards working with quality
•The candidate will have some budgeting knowledge and experience driving cost down efforts including conducting periodic RFPs as required per purchasing policies to ensure a competitive cost structure
• Leads/supports all capital goods supply chain planning, ordering, and site delivery
• Leads/supports service parts program and distribution to the field including reverse logistics (RMA) of failed parts to the manufacturers and inventory management budgetary oversight (20%)

• Extensive experience leading supply chain and logistics initiatives and areas of key responsibility, experience with oversight of supply chain personnel to deliver goods and material per schedule
• Subject matter expertise on supply chain demand planning and forecasting
• Solid knowledge and understanding of logistics both domestic and international including import and export
• Good experience and expertise on freight and trucking including long haul, short haul, and maritime
• Experience managing inventory and warehousing partners
• Experience with budgeting and financial modeling methods
•Proven experience with financial and inventory audits, accounting, and reporting
• Experience managing and negotiating contracts
• Experience in effectively managing vendors and subcontractors
• Understanding of project management techniques and methods
